And the night out had been good for them. All of their friends had been there, drinking and dancing to the Human League and New Order. The news had left them heartbroken, both of them gently sobbed as they listened to Just Like Heaven.

Some of the best times in their short lives had been in that same car, listening to that same song, and now the bittersweet tune was the soundtrack of their loving memories, flashing through their eyes as they drove past a bunch of buses and taxis.

They hold hands and they are crying now, gently and almost silently they suffer a loss that is really not here or there. They look at each other and laugh at the same time, they do look ridiculous crying bittersweet tears to the bittersweet tune, they kiss, he smiles, she smiles, it appears to be fine for just a moment.

They finally arrive to her place, they sit there waiting for the sadness to go away, they fail at this task and begin to once again silently whisper their compliments and their goodbyes as they cry in estranged happiness. They kiss and they sing along.

They get out of the car and into her house, they kiss and cuddle, they wait in the living room, look in happy silence at her pet dog, Clio, and they smile at their own demise. He needs her, she loves him, he loves her, she cannot live without him, he worships her, she smiles and they kiss briefly before crying again.
They make a promise. They will stay together now. She will wait for him. He will miss her everyday, they love each other and it is just enough, for now everything is just fine, for now everything is just what they need, just like heaven.
